
I graduated from Parker University in May 2012 with big dreams.
I was going to change lives. Build something meaningful. Create impact.
But by year 5 of practice, I was adjusting 100+ people a day, drowning in admin work, and answering texts at 10 PM about appointment changes.
I had built a practice.
But I didn't have a business.
I had a prison with better lighting.
I was the bottleneck. The one person everything depended on. One adjustment away from the whole thing falling apart.
And the worst part?
I couldn't see a way out.
That's when it hit me:
I didn't need to adjust more people.
I needed to lead better people.
I made a decision.
I stopped being the best adjuster in the room and started being the best leader.
I built systems. I hired intentionally. I created a culture where my team didn't just show up—they owned outcomes.
And everything changed.
May 2016: I opened my first clinic.
Within 3 months, we were doing 250+ visits per week.
By year 3, we crossed $1M in annual revenue.
Today, that clinic runs 500+ visits per week with 3 doctors on staff—and I personally adjust less than 1% of those visits.
Not because I have to.
Because I built a business that doesn't need me to survive.
September 2020: I opened a second clinic with a different doctor leading it.
Within 6 months, they hit 200 visits per week.
And that's when I knew:
This model works. This leadership framework scales.
The wins kept stacking.
But what I wanted more?
To see other chiropractors win too.



I realized what I'd figured out wasn't just for me.
Every chiropractor I knew was dealing with the same thing:

So I started coaching.

September 2022: We opened our first franchise.
October 2025: We opened our 10th franchise—with more on the way.
But it wasn't just about the franchises.
I was getting questions from chiropractors at every stage—new grads, associates, solo owners, multi-clinic operators.
Today, I coach dozens of chiropractors through my programs, speak at Parker Seminars and state associations, and continue building FreeForm Franchising with leaders who refuse to stay stuck in the treatment room.
I write The Dr. J Leadership Letter—a weekly email that delivers the systems, strategies, and mindset shifts that separate chiropractors from CEOs.
